T-Molding is a transition molding used to create a smooth, level connection between two floors of equal height—typically between hardwood and tile, laminate, or another hardwood surface. Named for its “T” shape in cross-section, this trim fits into the gap between the two flooring surfaces, allowing for natural expansion while delivering a seamless, finished appearance. It’s ideal for doorways, open floor plans, or any space where two flooring materials meet.
